Large, comfortable and very cosy room. Our room was accessible from a patio, very nice and quiet. Location is a bit off centre but great if you would like to see some Danish countryside and only about 40 min drive to Copenhagen. Breakfast was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back for a quiet weekend!

Breakfast served only until 9 am. 100 dkk for the dog is a bit expensive.

The Skjalm Hvide Hotel offers a variety of rooms that cater to all types of guests. As someone with physical handicaps, I found their accessible room to be perfect for my needs. It was spacious, well-equipped, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

The only downside for me was the lack of a grab bar in the bathroom. However, I understand that this is a subjective opinion and other guests may not have the same requirement.

The receptionist/waitress was outstandingly good. Friendly, accommodating and service was prompt.

A reviewer had said the condition was "tired", but that did not put me off. Though it may be could use some refurbishment, it was not a downside for us.

The staff was exceptional and were bending over backwards to help with whatever was required. This made the stay pleasurable.

The hotel staff was super chill and let us go crazy, so we partied till the next day. And guess what? They even had a sick route along The Marguerite, via Hørup Skovvej in Frederikssund for a rad walk the next morning. It was the perfect way to end our party adventure!

The only thing we'd ask for is a killer dance floor at the hotel. We wanted to break it down and bust out some sick moves, but we didn't have a proper space for it.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a quiet location close to main roads, making it easy to explore Danish towns north of Copenhagen. The restaurant had a limited selection, but the food was good. The rooms were warm and comfortable, with free WiFi throughout the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, even assisting me in finding a dentist when I urgently needed one. The breakfast was plentiful and the beds were nice and firm.

The lack of options in the restaurant was a downside to an otherwise pleasant stay.

This is a motel. My bedroom door opened on to the central courtyard. This hotel caters for functions. I could hear lots of people at all times of the night. Not good when you have to go to work early. No international (English) tv channels.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with plenty of options for all preferences. The quiet location was perfect for a relaxing and peaceful weekend away, surrounded by nature. Additionally, the free WiFi worked perfectly throughout the hotel, ensuring we could stay connected if we needed to.

The parking area was limited, causing us to have to park a bit further away from the hotel. Also, for those looking for a beach or sea view, this hotel may not be the right fit as it's located away from the coast and in a rural area.

Very noisy room, noise from corridor

I had a fantastic stay at this upmarket motel-like hotel with chalet-style rooms. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice firm bed. The staff was efficient, friendly, and even helped me find a dentist when I needed one urgently. The location was peaceful, with a beautiful garden-like courtyard where I enjoyed a beer. great value for money!

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more options for hot dishes.
